Vladislav Tretyak, President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, extended his congratulations on Victory Day, marking the 81st anniversary of the Soviet Union’s triumph in the Great Patriotic War.
“Dear friends, on behalf of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and personally, I wish to congratulate you on the most important holiday in our country—Victory Day,” Tretyak said.
“During those years, many athletes went to the front lines and gave their lives so that today we can engage in physical culture and sports. We will always remember them, because they are true heroes. I wish everyone good health, success, and new victories. Always remember those who gave their lives for us. Happy holiday!”
