Professional golfer Chisato Iwai delighted fans by sharing a series of candid vacation snapshots with her twin sister Akie Iwai on Instagram. The duo explored Mexico together during a break from competition, giving followers a glimpse of their off-duty adventures.
In a post dated May 10, Chisato wrote, “Come to think of it… we were sightseeing in Mexico!” She uploaded 12 photos that captured the sisters enjoying the Yucatán Peninsula while she was in town as defending champion of the LPGA’s Riviera Maya Open.

The set included a heartwarming shot of the sisters huddling together and eating ice cream, with the hashtag “#Ice cream season is coming!?” In another image, they leaped energetically in front of the Temple Pyramid at Chichén Itzá, the ancient Mayan city. Chisato also posted an illustration of the tournament trophy—a chameleon—and a refreshing photo taken at a cenote, where they relaxed in the mystical underground spring. Additional snaps showed Akie taking a big bite of a giant hamburger and Chisato smiling with a large glass of juice, fully embracing their Mexican getaway.
