On May 10, 2026, the opening round of the 2026 FIA TCR World Tour concluded at the Misano World Circuit in Italy. Making their debut, Geely China Star Team achieved a breakthrough in the second race. Chinese driver Ma Qinghua, piloting the all-new Geely Xingrui TCR, secured the victory, marking the car’s first win in its debut and another world championship for Chinese racing and drivers on the global stage.
Geely China Star Team is a collaboration between Geely Auto Group and Sweden’s Cyan Racing. For the 2026 season, the team entered the new Xingrui TCR car, built on the CMA platform, into the FIA TCR World Tour, embarking on a journey for a Chinese brand in the world of touring car racing.
